Refund & Exchange Policy for shirok.ai

At SHIROKAI, your satisfaction is important to us. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or arrive in perfect condition. Please review our policy on returns and exchanges carefully.


1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition for Non-Defective Items: The item must be in new, unused, and undamaged condition. This includes, but is not limited to, no signs of installation, no new drilled holes, no scuffs, scratches, or alterations. The item must be in its original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet these conditions.
  • Timeframe: The return period begins from the delivery date as confirmed by the tracking status of your package.
    • For full body kits (multi-piece sets): You have 14 calendar days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.
    • For individual parts (spoilers, ducktails, fender flares, accessories): You have 7 calendar days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Please note that certain items may not be eligible for return or exchange. These include:

  • Items that have been installed or show clear signs of installation.
  • Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged due to customer misuse, or have missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Custom-made or specially ordered items (if applicable).
  • Sale or clearance items (if applicable).

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange (Buyer's Remorse)

If you wish to return an item due to "buyer's remorse" (e.g., you changed your mind, ordered the wrong part, or the item didn't fit your aesthetic preference, and the item is not defective or damaged upon arrival), please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to i@shirok.ai within the eligible return timeframe (14 days for kits, 7 days for individual parts) stating your order number and reason for the return.
  2. Return Shipping Label: Upon approval of your return request, we will provide you with a return shipping label.
  3. Return Shipment: You are responsible for securely packaging the item for return shipping.

4. Refunds for Buyer's Remorse Returns

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will take up to 48 business hours to inspect the product to ensure it meets our return eligibility criteria (new, unused, undamaged condition).

Once the inspection is complete and approved, your refund will be processed. Please note that for returns initiated due to "buyer's remorse," we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the return shipping label from your refund amount.

Additionally, a restocking fee will be applied to cover expenses related to processing, inspection, and repackaging. The restocking fees are:

  • $30 USD for individual parts (spoilers, ducktails, fender flares, accessories).
  • $100 USD for full body kits.

The remaining refund will be issued to your original method of payment. Please allow several business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.


5. Damaged or Defective Items (Manufacturer Defects or Shipping Damage)

If you receive an item that is damaged during shipping or has a manufacturing defect, please notify us immediately within the applicable timeframe (7 days for individual parts, 14 days for kits) from the delivery date. Your cooperation is crucial for a smooth resolution.

  • Immediate Inspection & Documentation:
    • We strongly advise you to inspect your package immediately upon arrival for any signs of external damage before accepting it from the courier. If possible, do so in the courier's presence.
    • Crucial Evidence: For any claims of damaged items or manufacturing defects, you must provide clear photographic or video evidence of:
      • Any external damage to the packaging upon receipt.
      • The damaged product(s) itself.
      • We highly recommend taking photos or video during the unboxing process, especially if the outer packaging shows signs of distress.
  • Reporting: Send an email to i@shirok.ai with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and the required photographic/video evidence.
  • Resolution Process:
    • Simple Part Replacement: If it's an individual part and you agree to a replacement, we will send you a new, correct item at our expense.
    • Full Kit Replacement: If it's a full body kit with damaged parts, we will offer to replace only the damaged components, not the entire kit.
    • Refund Option: If you prefer a refund over a replacement, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to request the return of the damaged/defective product. If a return is requested, we will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label. Once the item is received and inspected, a full refund will be processed.
  • Investigation: All claims for damaged or defective items will undergo an internal review and, if related to shipping damage, an investigation with the shipping carrier.

6. Exchanges (for non-defective items)

If you wish to exchange an item for a different one (e.g., different style or component, assuming it's not due to defect), please contact us at i@shirok.ai. Exchanges are subject to item availability and the same return eligibility criteria and fees as stated above for "buyer's remorse" returns (including return shipping costs and restocking fees).
