The Ford Mustang widebody kit was where SHIROKAI started shaping its vision.

Starting in 2019, SHIROKAI was a team of industry professionals.

They wanted recognizable design and a new way to reimagine automotive styling.

The goal was accurate but aggressive widebody kits.

That meant fewer compromises than original car designers face on serial vehicles.

The first model we wanted to play with became the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang.

Its bandit facia gave a strong homage to the classic 60s models.

We were inspired by modern movies and racing series such as MadMax and DTM.

The result kept a «street fighter» look while following the stock lines.

We gave it a 90mm additional arch in front.

In the rear, it gained an insane 120mm per side.

The total width added was almost a quarter meter.

Based on our ten years of experience, we used 3D scan technologies.

CAD engineering helped the new parts flow with the body panels.

That also gave precision fitment when installed.

Using ABS plastic instead of cheaper fiberglass options improves installation experience.

It also helps us reach Mustang owners through design and quality.

That is when we started growing as a community instead of just another online shop.
